Our Presenters:
Lark Eshleman, Ph.D.

Dr. Eshleman is the founder and director of ICF and author of “Becoming a Family: Promoting Healthy Attachments With Your Adopted Child.” She is also a Certified School Psychologist and a Board Member of ATTACh (Association for the Treatment and Training in the Attachment of Children). She is also a busy speaker in the field of trauma and attachment.

John Tardibuono, Ed.D.

Dr. Tardibuono is a licensed psychologist with over 30
years of experience working in schools.

Bob Patterson, PT

Mr. Patterson is a licensed physical therapist, the director of
the Neuro Enhancement Center, and a nationally recognized
expert in Neurofeedback treatment with emotional trauma
and attachment issues.

Laura Miller, LSW

Ms. Miller is a licensed social worker and a trauma and
attachment therapist.

Kris Kennedy, MA

Day 1: “I Am Unlovable” - The History,
Theory, and Profile of RAD

• Review of Healthy Attachment
Development
• Attachment Trauma: Diagnosing,
Symptoms, Syndromes, and Co-existing
Disorders
• STAT™ Model of promoting healing
• Eye Movement Desensitization and
Reprocessing (EMDR)


Day 2: “How Can I Be Loved?”

• Integrating Neurofeedback into treatment
• Theraplay® and other forms of family
therapy
• Family Implications
• Integrating other therapies (Cognitive,
Behavioral, Music, Art, Narrative, Group,
Body Work, etc.)
• Reasonable/Accurate Treatment Planning

 

Learning Objectives

• Participants will identify conditions leading
to, and the diagnostic symptoms of
Reactive Attachment Disorder.

• Participants will learn new brain
research to understand the link between
emotional trauma and attachment
disorder behaviors.

• Participants will gain mastery in integrating
complimentary therapies, as per
the model of Synergistic Trauma and
Attachment Therapy™(STAT).
