The Affiliate Network

What is the Affiliate Network?
The Affiliate Network is a group of professionals who can provide off-site services not available on-site through the Institute for Children and Families. These services, such as nutritional therapy or pet therapy, for example, have been shown to have beneficial therapeutic effects for some clients.

How have members of the network been selected?
Members of the Affiliate Network have been selected based upon several factors. Members agree to work as part of the Institute team. They agree to follow the holistic approach to healing - as declared in the Mission Statement - to which the Institute is dedicated. The services that Affiliate Network members provide have been carefully examined by the Institute and the Institute feels secure in recommending - when appropriate - these providers to our clients.

What is the relationship between the ICF and members of the Affiliate Network?
The relationship between members of the Affiliate Network and the Institute is informal. Members agree to support the mission of the Institute and the Institute agrees only to recommend their services to clients. There is no financial relationship between members of the Network and the Institute.

What does membership in the Affiliate Network mean?
Membership in the Affiliate Network means that these providers are dedicated to the same idea of helping children and adults deal with the effects of trauma, but each member is pursuing this goal using a different modality. As part of a larger group, the Institute hopes to improve synergy in treatment by employing the exact therapy specific to the needs of a client.
