Overview

The Institute for Children and Families offers Synergistic Trauma and Attachment Therapy. We use on-site therapies and off-site affiliated service providers to find the optimal interplay of services necessary to support our client and their family. Synergy is the combination of factors and interventions that together equals a greater positive effect then the sum of each part. A client's needs change during the course of treatment. The interventions which yield optimal synergy necessarily change as a client's healing unfolds!

We at the Institute for Children and Families are interested in collaborating with local, state, national, and international organizations in appropriate areas of research. In our short time in existence we have been fortunate to receive the support of a great many community organizations and colleagues. The diversity of our supporters, expanding breadth of professional services, and demand for our expertise reflects the increasing needs for our superior services and unique synergistic approach in this challenging field.

Prevention is a primary goal of our work. To this end, we offer ourselves as speakers, trainers, and public advocates for positive child development and support of healthy families. In terms of working with families and community organizations, we offer a range of powerful, well-established and researched interventions.
