Professional Training

The Institute for Children and Families provides intensive and comprehensive training to professionals, both on-site and off-site at other professional agencies.

Trainings Held at ICF
ICF holds four, Two-day Intensive Trainings each year at the Institute. Please refer to our "Training" Section for a list of upcoming trainings, including costs, agenda and speakers.

Trainings Held Off-Site
ICF staff is diligent at spreading their knowledge and expertise to other professionals. Therefore, the staff and affiliates of the Institute speak whenever possible. Dr. Eshleman speaks both locally and nationally about trauma and attachment disorders. Please refer to our "Training" Section for upcoming training provided by ICF to other professional organizations. Staff Training
ICF requires its staff and affiliates receive additional training on a continuing basis about trauma and attachment disorders, including keeping current with research trends and the most up-to-date and effective treatment interventions. Kathy McBeth is completing her Advanced Theraplay Training by the Theraplay Institute in Chicago. Andrea Kane will complete a four day intensive training for Neurofeedback, sponsored by EEGSpecturm. Ms. Kane will also be pursuing her post-Master's Licensure Program.
