The Clinic in Croatia
Dr. Lark Eshleman went to the war-torn province after it had
secured independence from Yugoslavia and provided on-site
training for professionals caring for the children
traumatized by the war.
Over a period of three years, she spent nearly nine months
working to make the lives of thousands of children better.
She worked in clinics, hospitals, and orphanages in the
middle of areas devastated and destroyed by battles and
violence.
She secured funding of almost $500,000 to support efforts to
help heal the children, especially from the Lancaster (PA)
Rotary and Holloman Grant Foundation. |
