Kris Kennedy, MA
Kris has worked in the
mental health field since 1985. She has worked with children
and adults providing camp and recreation opportunities. Kris
has owned and operated two aquatic and physical therapy
centers in the Berks County area since 1988. During that
time, Kris traveled nationally and internationally speaking
and consulting for aquatics, business development, and
program design. Kris was the President of the United States
Swim School Association during the years of 1999 through
2003. Kris is a certified massage therapist specializing in
cranial sacral therapy, lymphatic drainage and mechanical
link fascial work. Additionally, she is trained in EMDR (Eye
Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and NET (Neuro
Emotional Technique), as well as other
psychoneuroimmunological (mind and body) techniques.
Kris recently left the aquatic industry to avail more time
to counseling. Kris specializes in attachment and trauma
therapy with emphases of including mind and body techniques.
Kris provides in-services and workshops on topics such as
mind-body integration and attachment styles. Kris is a
member of the AACC (American Association of Christian
Counselors).
Kris lives in the Berks County area and enjoys outdoor
sports, cooking, reading and traveling in her spare time.
